UX DESIGNER, VISUAL DESIGNER, PRODUCT STRATEGY
Completed as a hackathon project with developer Kyle Hill, GoDC.me was an early answer to the transit system problem in DC. This app aimed to combined all modes of transportation into one application, allowing the user to quickly select a mode of transportation that fit their needs and timeline.
This project was completed as a proof of concept over the course of 2 days, with Kyle and myself deciding the idea, determining the scope, sketching the flows and then designing and building. This project was a good refresher in quick iterative launches to test concepts. While it was not fully functional, it's concept went on to inspire a few transportation focused startups in the DC area over the following months.
As a result of our combined efforts, the project won the DCWEEK hackathon.
